Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer

A Network Engineer in charge of technical aspects in implementing and support of IT network projects for clients. Their duties include attending project meetings, technical requirement study, project planning, and
technical deployment of the network infrastructures project with other project team members. Other scopes include taking part in technical support of any possible network operation faults, fine-tuning, and maintenance. |

Education and Experience Requirement:
- Diploma, Advance Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
- IT Network knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN, Wireless)
- IT Security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
- Ability to understand and produce network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network systems
- Strong ability with interest to pick up and learn new technology or solutions through technical research, training, hands-on trial, and self-R&D
- Proficient in English with excellent speaking and writing skills, capable of handling calls and meetings with senior management, customers, and vendors
- Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring and network diagnostic
- CCNA/HCIA or higher would be an added advantage
- Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous
- Being result-oriented with an excellent process and an SOP executor with the right attitude are important.
- Minimum 2 – 5 years working experience in IT network support position

Responsibilities:
- Participate in given technical assignments in the company’s network infrastructure project.
- Involve and take part in project study for network infrastructure design
- Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients, partners, and vendors, for the scope of the deliverables.
- Take part in project delivery, management, Installation, configuration, test and maintain network infrastructure
- Prepare pre and post-project documentation
- Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for solution resolution and escalation if required.
- Attending Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA
- Act as advisor and technical educator for nontechnical team members in the aspects of IT network knowledge and know-how.

Working Hour:
- Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:45pm
- Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on a Project basis
